The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Preferences in the Presidential Contest

For John, BLUFAs you note sometimes, Parties are not as important as personalities.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

From the Five-Thirty-Eight Blog and reporter Clare Malone, mid-afternoon on Monday, we have "If You Want To Understand What’s Roiling The 2016 Election, Go To Oklahoma".

Here is an indicator:

The Bowermanns were supporting the Vermont senator, but “believe it or not, our second choice is Trump,” said Sherelle, 73.  In a general election, given the choice between the Manhattan businessman and Clinton, they would vote for Trump.
These kinds of things confuse pollsters and political operatives.
