The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

How the Troops Are Breaking

For John, BLUFNoted by a friend of mine.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

I thought this was an interesting, if unscientific, poll out of The Military Times, by Reporters Leo Shane III and George R. Altman, "Military Times survey:  Troops back Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders for president".
In an exclusive survey of American military personnel, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders emerged as active-duty service members' top choices to become the next commander in chief.

But, as one might imagine, Senator Sanders did better with the Navy and Air Force and Mr Trump did better with the Army and the Marine Corps.

Of course, at the end of the day, their oath is to the US Constitution and not some individual or even some office, so they will serve faithfully, regardless of the outcome.

Results for the other three uniformed services, Coast Guard, Public Health Service and NOAA, were not reported.
