The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Any Hoo...

From The Anchoress comes this little item on the Dalia Lama and his visit to Cambridge, Mass.  This is the take from National Review Online, which The Anchoress links to.

The NRO article links to The Boston Globe, which spins the story a bit (compared to the NRO version), but still gets the basic idea across.  I don't know how long that link will last, given the current state of negotiations.  We can all hope it will last for a long time, but many suggest that Hope is not a Method. On the other hand, some of us do believe Hope is a method—Faith, Hope and Charity.  Or, from Holy Scripture, "And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity." (1 Cor 13:13)
